IFS has become a highly sought-after form of therapy in recent years. It differs from some conventional therapeutic models by recognising that we have many parts to us rather than one distinct self - eg. one example many of us will know is the part that wants to go out, but another part wanting to stay home. Conflicts frequently occur between parts - and some parts of us are trying to keep us safe, whilst other parts can hold un-processed pain from the past. However, it's important to know that there are no bad parts - all parts have positive intention for us and our survival. IFS uncovers our innate compassion and curiosity, turning towards our parts and forming relationships with them - which can allow true inner change to occur.
I have undertaken a number of IFS trainings including the internationally recognised Level 1 and Level 2.
